As with all IKEA sites, turnaround time is a major factor. In this case, the main contractor, responsible for the overall building works, commissioned us to deliver the insulation and waterproofing of the roof. Given the very short timescale to complete the building as a whole, the client asked us to put in place a roof of 22,000m² in the space of six weeks. We met this deadline, despite being challenged by bad weather and periods of holiday falling during the time period over which the work was to be carried out.
